The White Horse Inn uses as much local produce as possible to produce simply cooked classic British, French and Italian dishes. The beer and spirits available come from within Cumbria, the wine is sourced with the environment and farmers in mind. With two beautiful en-suite rooms to stay at you can explore the surrounding area and reach The Lakes within 20 minutes. There is a large beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Dogs welcome!

The White Horse Inn has two en-suite rooms finished to the highest standard, on site parking and high speed wifi. The White Horse Inn is perfectly situated with the Eden Valley on your doorstep and the Lake District just a short drive away .
Seasonal Menu
The menu at The White Horse Inn changes daily, working with local suppliers using ingredients that are in season and at their best. Classic cooking techniques are used to create dishes that are simple, fresh and waste free. We also do a mean Sunday roast!
Local Produce
We love to use as much of the produce the Eden Valley has to offer. Meat from Low Howgill, organic vegetables from Crosby Ravensworth, coffee from Kendal, honey from just down the road, game from the surrounding area and beer from some of the best breweries in Cumbria.
